    By checking the box I acknowledge I have read and understand the contents of AGPD Policy 1042 (Personal Appearance Standards) which is located as an "Attached File" in the Job Details section. If appointed, I agree to comply with the standards as presented.
    By checking the box above I acknowledge I have read and understand the contents of AGPD Policy 1042.3 (Tattoos or Ornamentation) which is located as an "Attached File" in the Job Details section. Specifically, the section highlighted below regarding tattoos and ornamentation. I affirm that I am capable of complying with the standards as presented.
  10. "Department members are not allowed any tattoo, brand or body art that is visible while wearing any standard authorized Department uniform. Modification of Department uniform standards in order to conceal tattoos, brands or body art is not allowed (.le. the wearing of long sleeve shirts year round). The use of concealing devices such as bandages, tapes or cosmetics is not allowed. No tattoo, brand or body art shall be visible at such a time and place that would bring discredit to the Department". (Arroyo Grande Police Department Policy 1042.3)
