[ARCHIVED] Arroyo Grande City Council Returning to Bi-Weekly Regular Meeting Schedule

The Arroyo Grande City Council will return to its bi-weekly Regular meeting schedule effective June 9, 2020 as the State begins to implement its reopening phases. COVID-19 updates will continue to be provided at City Council Regular meetings, which are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Special meetings will be called as necessary. 

City Council meetings will continue to take place via teleconference until further notice, pursuant to the local emergency concerning the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 and the San Luis Obispo County Emergency Services Director’s Order to Shelter At Home. The public may still view and participate in City Council meetings, as follows:

Cable Channel 20:  The City Council meeting can be viewed live on Channel 20 and will be rebroadcast daily thereafter at 9:00 a.m., 6:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

Internet Livestream: The City Council meeting will be streamed live online and can be accessed via the City’s website and the SLO-Span website.

Public Comment: Members of the public may submit written comments in advance of the meeting by emailing publiccomment@arroyogrande.org up until the introduction of the agenda item. Please provide the agenda item number in the subject line of your email. Emails will be read into the record by the City Clerk. A timer will be set and only the portion of the email that can be read in three (3) minutes will be allowed, pursuant to current meeting procedure for public comment.

Teleconference: To provide comment by phone, the public may call 1-833-493-5844. During public comment period(s) on agenda items, each connected caller will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker, pursuant to current meeting procedure. Please be patient as we work to recognize each caller.

Agendas for meetings are posted on the City’s website in the Agenda Center.

These guidelines may be updated up to and during the meeting as needed based on technology capabilities and/or to implement guidance and direction from the San Luis Obispo County Department of Health and other governmental authorities.
