ARROYO GRANDE, CA -The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department, co-sponsored by Scarecrow Inc., Kiwanis Club of Arroyo Grande Valley, LifePoint, and Kona Ice, will hold its Annual Halloween Carnival and Haunted Maze on Saturday, October 27th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Elm Street Park (corner of Ash and Elm streets). Children of all ages and adults are invited to enjoy carnival games for prizes, cookie decorating, a Haunted Maze, a costume contest and a pumpkin decorating contest. Food trucks will be on site for a variety of choices! To enter the pumpkin decorating contest, participants should bring decorated pumpkins from home. The cost for the carnival area is $5 per child and $2 per adult at the door; Haunted Maze is $3 per person. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at the Recreation Services Department, 1221 Ash Street, before October 26th, or at the gate. Family pack tickets are available before October 26th for a discounted rate (Family 4 pack includes admission for 2 children, 2 adults, and 4 Haunted Maze tickets for $20; Family 2 pack includes admission for 1 adult, 1 child, and 2 Haunted Maze tickets for $10).
