[ARCHIVED] Digital Photography Classes

The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department is offering three Digital Photography classes this March. Instructor Peter Boonisar is a professional photographer and was a Field Training Specialist for Olympus Camera Company for many years. Participants should bring a digital camera, a list of questions, and enthusiasm to learn how to use their camera.

Introduction to Digital Photography Students 15 years and older will learn about camera menus, exposure settings, metering modes, and concepts for taking great pictures. This class takes place on March 11th from 9 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Elm St. Community Center, located at 1221 Ash St. in Arroyo Grande. The cost is $30 and includes an “Introduction to Digital Photography” DVD.

“On Location in Morro Bay” Advanced Photography Learn while doing in this advanced photography clinic. Bring your own camera, receive instruction, then you will be off on assignment! This $25 class will meet on Saturday, March 11th from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. at Morro Bay.

Photo Critique Class Students will submit their top 5 photographs for review and critique. This $15 class will be held on Saturday, March 25th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Elm St. Community Center, located at 1221 Ash St. in Arroyo Grande.
