Registration Information for Recreation Activities

Activity Guide

The Activity Guide is published in cooperation with two neighboring cities and is distributed three times a year (December, May, and August). The guides are circulated to all single family residences in the Five Cities area, all City facilities, and selected locations throughout the City.

Online Registration for Classes & Events

Online registration is available for convenience and does not include extra costs to do so. If you experiencing difficulty registering or need technical assistance with your online account, please email: agrec@arroyogrande.org. Please review the following information and policies:

Space Reservation Policy

Registration will be accepted on a first received, first admitted basis. Reservation is secured through payment only.

Waiver / Medical Release Policy

Each adult participant must sign a release of liability form. If participant is under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian must complete the waiver. Signatures must be on all registration forms before participant will be allowed to participate in City program. Waiver / Medical Release

Refund & Cancellation Policy

A minimum number of participants are required to hold classes, camps and activities. If registration is below the minimum the Recreation Services Department reserves the right to cancel the program with participants receiving a full refund. It is highly recommended that you register as early as possible to avoid programs being canceled due to a lack of enrollment. Refunds are provided only if the class is canceled. Refunds are not provided for illness, change of plans or any other reason. ’Credits’ or ’exchanges’ are also not accepted.

Emergency Situations

At the discretion of the Recreation Services Department, a refund may be given. If a refund is processed, a $10 administrative fee will be assessed.

Walk-in/Mail-in Registration

The Recreation Services Department is located at 1221 Ash Street. The office is open for walk-in registration Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To mail-in a registration, download and complete the registration form (PDF), and mail in to the office address listed above. Please address all checks to the City of Arroyo Grande.
