Recreation Classes and Events
The Arroyo Grande Recreation Division is responsible for providing recreation and leisure opportunities to residents of all ages. These programs are offered with the hope that they not only meet the community's interests, but also inspire residents to try something new.The division offers classes, sports leagues, childcare programs, and special events, which are highlighted in a seasonal Activity Guide. The Recreation Division also manages the scheduling and reserving of all recreational facilities, including parks, halls, and athletic fields.
The Activity Guide is published in cooperation with two neighboring cities and is distributed three times a year (January, June, and September). The guides are circulated to all South County Public Schools, all City Facilities, and selected locations throughout the city. We hope you enjoy the programs offered. If you are interested in participating, teaching, or volunteering, please give us a call or send us an e-mail message. We are always happy to hear from you.Register for Classes and Events
