Department Overview
The Parks and Recreation Department's responsibility is to provide recreation and leisure opportunities for all ages throughout the year. The department schedules and reserves all park facilities, which include athletic fields, the Community Center, barbecue areas, the gazebo, and recreation center. This department provides programs, classes, sport leagues, child care, and special events for all ages which are highlighted in a seasonal Activity Guide. The department staffs the Senior Advisory Commission, Parks & Recreation Commission, Community Recreation Center Subcommittee, and the Open Space and Conservation Subcommittee.
