Neighborhood Services Division

Neighborhood Services serves to promote a safe and attractive community through enforcement of the City of Arroyo Grande’s Municipal Code. Citizen concerns and public nuisances are investigated and confirmed violations undergo an abatement process. Common cases include accumulations of rubbish, encroachment into the public right-of-way, illegal animal keeping, unpermitted construction, commercial sign violations, unpermitted businesses, vegetation management, and issues concerning vehicles on private property.
