Arroyo Grande Police Department Asking for Santa Cop Donations

Santa Cop

ARROYO GRANDE, CA - The Arroyo Grande Police Department is proud to sponsor the annual Santa Cop program. Santa Cop gives law enforcement personnel the opportunity to interact with struggling families in a positive way to bring the families, and especially the children, an even more special holiday season that for many would not be possible without this program.  Santa Cop will be even more vital to these struggling families and their children this year – a year of harsh and difficult economic reality for many of our neighbors and friends.

Each and every child has a special and unique story. A story of excitement and appreciation that becomes so evident in their faces and voices when they receive their gifts from Santa Claus. We would not be able to continue to provide this program, year after year, without your compassion, your concern for others in our community and your valuable assistance. We sincerely hope you will be able to assist us this year.

This year will be a little different, but we are excited to partner with Walmart in hosting Santa Cop. Walmart will host children from selected families, in our community, to shop with police officers from the Arroyo Grande Police Department. This will allow children to shop for items they want and desire. It is also a better environment in order to comply with COVID regulations.

If you would like to join in bringing holiday joy to Arroyo Grande families, please send your monetary donation to Santa Cop Program, Arroyo Grande Police Department, 200 N. Halcyon Road, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420.

The deadline for donations is Friday December 4, 2020 to allow the elves sufficient time to organize this event. We wish you and yours a safe and happy holiday season and thank you for any donation you can make to help ensure that so many children experience the true meaning and wonder of the holiday season.
