[ARCHIVED] Where to Call or Email for Concerns With County Shelter at Home Order

ARROYO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA – The City of Arroyo Grande has established a direct phone number and email address for concerns with potential violations of the County’s Shelter at Home Order that are occurring within the City.

The County’s recent public orders, particularly the Shelter at Home order, are meant to limit the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in SLO County. Please call (805) 473-5404 or email shelterathome@arroyogrande.org if you believe a violation of the County’s Order is occurring in Arroyo Grande. City staff will review reports and will coordinate a response with the County as appropriate. Questions, concerns, and complaints may also be made to the County’s hotline at (805) 788-2222.

If you are witnessing a serious violation of the physical distancing order NOW, you may call the Arroyo Grande Police Department at 805-473-5100 to report your observations and the next available Officer will respond to investigate.

“We look forward to continuing to work with our citizens and businesses as we all do our part to limit the spread of the virus so we can return to normal as soon as possible,” stated Whitney McDonald, the City’s Community Development Director.
