[ARCHIVED] Partial Closure of W Branch Street for Repairs on October 23rd and 24th

On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 23rd and 24th, Public Works will be closing portions of W Branch Street from Oak Park Blvd to Rancho Parkway to perform routine street repairs. Crews will be “potholing” one side at a time as to not completely disrupt the flow of traffic. Traffic will be metered through, monitored and controlled.

The process of "potholing" involves cutting the pavement and removing/vacuuming out the base layer down to the actual utility line. Crews will then confirm the location and depth of that utility line and document the measurements. The hole is then filled and compacted down, and an asphalt patch is added to the surface.

This work and partial street closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.
