Annual Halloween Carnival and Haunted Maze
The City of Arroyo Grande Recreation Services Department along with sponsors FRM, Kona Ice, Kiwanis Club of Arroyo Grande Valley, LifePoint Church and Scarecrow, Inc. will hold its Annual Halloween Carnival and Haunted Maze on Saturday, October 28th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Elm Street Park (corner of Ash and Elm streets). Children of all ages and adults are invited to enjoy carnival games for candy and toy prizes, cookie decorating, hot dogs and hamburgers, the haunted maze, a costume contest, and a pumpkin decorating contest. To enter the pumpkin decorating contest participants should bring decorated pumpkins from home. The cost for the carnival area is $3.00 per child and $1.00 per adult at the door. The Haunted Maze admission is $2.00 per person. For children’s carnival tickets purchased at the Recreation Services office, 1221 Ash Street, before October 27th , the cost is $2.00 per child. Barbecued hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for $2.00 and $3.00 respectively. Kona Ice refreshing treats are $3.00.
