At its upcoming regular meeting on June 27th 2017, the Arroyo Grande City Council will receive a staff presentation, accept public comment, and provide key policy direction to staff concerning the future development of local regulations for non-medical marijuana under the Control, Regulate, and Tax Adult Use of Marijuana Act. The public is encouraged to attend and provide comments. The intent of this preliminary discussion is to provide an opportunity for the Council and the public to weigh in on potential use and regulation of non-medical marijuana in the City and ensure that any new City regulations are clear in light of evolving State legislation. The City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers located at 215 E. Branch Street. The agenda and staff report will be posted on the City’s website at www.arroyogrande.org by noon on Friday, June 23, 2017.
