[ARCHIVED] Status of Power Outages in Arroyo Grande

PG&E has reported that there are currently five (5) outages affecting more than 500 customers in the Arroyo Grande area along Hwy 227 (Carpenter Canyon Road), Corbett Canyon Road, Printz Road, Old Oak Park and Tally Ho Road. These outages were caused by trees falling into and damaging electrical equipment including 11 utility poles in this area. Crews were expecting to have electricity restored to these customers by midnight tonight (02/20); however, due to more trees falling into portions of the completed work last night, the estimated time of electricity restoration has been revised to February 21. Corbett Canyon between Tally Ho Road and Deer Canyon Road is closed to the public—there is limited access to residents/customers living in this area. The PG&E Customer Service representatives are reaching out to businesses and residents affected by these long-duration outages.  For continued updates on outages and to sign up for electronic updates via cell phone or email, visit www.pge.com.
