The most recent storm (wind and rain) has caused a large number of electrical outages in the Arroyo Grande area. Currently, there are 27 outages affecting approximately 2,400 customers in the area. These outages are the results of the heavy rains and strong winds damaging electrical equipment including eleven (11) utility poles along segments of Corbett Canyon, Hwy 227 and Printz Road. PG&E crews are working diligently to repair the damaged equipment and restore power to customers as soon as possible. With the exception of the Printz Road area, PG&E is expecting to have electricity restored to most customers by midnight tonight (February 19). The estimated time of restoration for the area along Printz Road, Noyes Road and Oak Park Road is February 20 by midnight. The PG&E Customer Service representatives are reaching out to businesses and residents affected by this prolonged outage.
