The Village Concrete project schedule has been updated (see the timeline below). Now, much of the Village concrete and crosswalk work will occur at night, from 8 PM to 6 AM. The concrete project start date has been moved out from September 18th to October 9th. City staff believe that this is an advantageous schedule adjustment for the following reasons:
- Less disruption for businesses during the day
- Shorter construction window
- Street parking available during the day
- Limited detours

Nevada Street is reopened.
Nevada Street is closed for asphalt repairs.

Mason Street is reopened.
🚧 Mason Street is closed for asphalt repairs as of September 13th.
The full Project includes asphalt, sidewalk, and crosswalk repairs. The project also includes the removal of parklet k-rails and installation of permanent parklets for the businesses that chose to have them installed.
Asphalt, sidewalk and crosswalk repairs are scheduled to be completed by the end of October with parklet installations scheduled to be completed by mid-November ahead of the busy holiday season.
The City appreciates your patience during this project. Staff are working hard to minimize inconveniences caused to residents, businesses, and travelers.
