ARROYO GRANDE, CA - The Recreation Services Department is excited to present the 2021 Summer Concert Series in partnership with Mechanics Bank. The first concert of the series will take place on the 4th of July and will feature the Village Band, a 25-piece patriotic band. Concerts will be held at the Heritage Park Rotary Bandstand in the Village of Arroyo Grande from 1-4pm, and will continue on alternating Sundays through September 12th.
This year’s 4th of July event will be patriotic-themed and will feature fun for the whole family. This concert, sponsored in part by the Arroyo Grande Rotary Club, will feature music, fun and games for kids, raffled gift cards promoting local businesses in support of local causes, and Ballooney the Clown! Rudy’s Hot Dogs will be selling food and the AG Rotary Club will be selling beer and wine throughout the afternoon at the park.
The City of Arroyo Grande is grateful for many community partners to provide the Summer Concert Series free to the general public. The series is presented in partnership with Mechanics Bank in addition to concert sponsors such as the AG Rotary Club, Alice Addison, and Rugged Radios. In addition, after identifying areas of damaged wood and dry rot, community volunteers from the ‘Carpenters Local Union 805’ group have begun much needed repairs to our treasured Heritage Park Rotary Bandstand.
Bring your low-back chairs, blankets and relax at the beautiful Heritage Square Park with the entire family! Enjoy the small town charm in the Arroyo Grande Village, celebrate with friends and enjoy the afternoon while listening to fun music. See you there!
