Public Works

The Public Works Department is located at the City Corporation Yard at 1375 Ash Street, adjacent to the Soto Sports Complex, and can be reached at 805-473-5460.

Responsibilities

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining all city infrastructure (streets, parks, sports complex, city-owned building, water and sewer facilities) as well as maintaining the city’s vehicle fleet and equipment. The Public Works Department also administers the city's Community Tree program, which includes administering tree removal requests.  The Public Works Department is located at the City Corporation Yard, adjacent to the Soto Sports Complex. 

Divisions
The Public Works Department consists of the Utilities, Streets and Landscaping, Soto Sports Complex, and Fleet Maintenance divisions.

In case of an after hours emergency, please contact the Arroyo Grande Police Department at 805-473-5100 and they will get in touch with on-call personnel.
